Dicasteries

The Imperial Church is divided up into several dicasteries, each which has purview over a specific area of church function.

Divine Secretariat: The governing body of the Imperial Caelean Church

Concilium Allegi: The upper house, made up of Prefects, advisors of the Archprelate

Decuria Primus: Headed by the Secretary for General Affairs, organizes the discarteries and prelateal appointments, maintains Imperial documents, preserves the Archprelateal Vestments, handles the relations of the Imperial Church, publishes official communications, and directs envoys of the Church throughout the world

Decuria Secundus: Headed by the Secretary of Foreign Relations, responsible for the relations of the Caelean Church with foreign governments, entering into treaties and alliances, the organization of church eparchies, and the regulation of eparchs and vicars.

Congregations: Headed by a Prefect (normally a prelate), who sits on the Concilium Allegi as an advisor to the Archprelate, these function much like ministries within temporal governments.

Congregation for the Causes of Saints, Divine Agents and Servants of the Emperor

Congregation for the Erection and Maintenance of Churches and Houses of Prayer

Congregation for Establishing Communion with Divergent Churches

Congregation for Exarchs and Prelates

Congregation for Imperial Inquisition

Congregation for Interpretation of Sacred Scripture

Congregation for Holy Crusades

Congregation for the Knights of the Church

Congregation for the Proselytization of the Faith

Congregation for Sacred Exorcism

Congregation for the Study and Research of Forbidden Texts

Congregation for Relieving the Ills of the States and the Church

Sacred Tribunals: The High Courts of the Caelean Church

Signatura Imperius: Headed by a prelate, the administrative appellate tribunal of the Caelean Church, highest judicial authority within the Caelean Church

Juditium Collia: Headed by a dean, the highest appellate tribunal of the Caelean Church for all but the most exceptional of cases

Clericus Penitentiary: Headed by a dean, the tribunal of mercy and forgiveness of sins, such as the granting of indulgences and absolution of excommunication

Offices of the Church: Administrative boards for the governance of the Caelean Church, headed by Presidents

The Aerarium Caeleaus: The Treasury of the Impreial Church

The Administration of Divine Properties: Administers Church property

The Archprelateal Household: Administers the Archprelate's villa

The Liturgical Celebrations of the Archprelate: Regulates the Archprelate's travels and celebrations

The Statistics of the Faithful: Collects and records vital statistics on the faithful

Sacred Archeology: Funds and manages church-approved archaeological digs

Distribution of Sacred Texts: Regulates the production and distribution of sacred texts and prelateal decrees

Secret Imperial Archives: Controls and regulates access to the secret libraries of the Imperial Church

The Imperial Library: Maintains and regulates the Imperial Caelean Library
