Sea of Blood

The Sea of Blood is so named because of the black and red volcanic sands that spread out across its sea bed. It stretches from the Acies chain to the Tela Ring. Shallower waters in the sea can actually appear blood red in the right light, and sailors often steer clear of these areas for fear of grounding their vessels.
