The Titan Welkin

When the ancient Welkin of good awoke into the world again they found it a much different place, full of pain and needless suffering. No one knows where they came from or how long they had been asleep deep under the surface of the earth, but when they awoke it was with open arms and warm hearts. The bodies of the ancients had long ago decayed, so the newly roused souls searched far and wide for the strongest and most noble creatures left in the region. What the found were the kind and gentle Titans, and after working out their differences they came to a mutually beneficial agreement. This is how the Titan Welkin were born.

The Welkin souls that merged with the titans granted their new allies immortality. In return the titans promised to nurture and protect the tribes in their care. When the merging was complete, the titans noble nature was bonded with the good Welkins ability to make it happen.
